I was introduced to PRO-ECO by a friend who is a multiple licensee when I told him I was undertaking a review of all the costs associated with running my business.

We are a reasonably large private members club offering the full range of sports facilities as well as bars, restaurants and function rooms. See us at www.roffen.com if you want to take a look around.

Shane Gibbs came along and gave me two hours of his time explaining what PRO-ECO could do for us, and I have to admit I was sceptical. However, the actual savings accomplished at the meeting itself were enough to convince me that we would more than cover our membership costs and so I went ahead.

Over the past four weeks I have been working my way through meetings and telephone calls with PRO-ECO suppliers and I have saved literally thousands of pounds - and I have not finished yet.

The list of suppliers is extensive and every time I have contacted a supplier they have backed up their commitment to PRO-ECO and have been helpful and responsive.

Most of the savings have come direct from PRO-ECO suppliers, other savings have come through my own suppliers matching PRO-ECO prices to keep my business, either way I win hands down.

Giving Shane that two hours of my time and paying my membership fee has been a very, very worthwhile investment, not just for now, but for the future, as the savings should keep on coming onto my bottom line for some time to come.

We have used the services of Pro-Eco for many years now, here and at our previous pub. They have saved us thousands of pounds, most recently we received nearly £900 rebate from British gas electric as the pub had the incorrect meter installed and we and the previous tenants were unaware of this. (The previous landlord has been threatened with a £1,000 bill for his time here, we told him to get in touch with Pro-Eco and he ended up with a £5,000 rebate instead!!). We always recommend Pro-Eco to existing and new licensees, as checking bills is something we neither have the time nor expertise to do. After all, you would expect the meter to be correct, but this is not always the case. In the past Pro-Eco have also helped us get a refund from Wessex Water for a leak we were unaware of until they received an unusually large bill, and they negotiate deals with food suppliers and catering equipment, all for a very small monthly fee.

Try them you have nothing to lose and a lot to gain.

A lot of companies offer similar services but I have yet to find one the sorts out the utilities as well.

We joined Pro-Eco on 12th July 2001.

We had been impressed with their success with other public house and restaurants we had been in contact with and the fact that their would be no fee unless substantial savings were made, also appealed to us.

Pro-Eco's service has proved very beneficial, initially saving us £2,230.00 with a healthy reduction on Card Payments. This was followed by even greater savings on our catering supplies.

Another point we would comment on is Pro-Eco's aftercare service. When we experienced some problems with an electricity supplier we notified Pro-Eco, who resolved the matter within 48 hours.

Naturally we would wholeheartedly recommend Pro-Eco's service to any other business.
